The Masoneilan SVi1000 is an intuitive 4-20 mA digital valve positioner equipped with HART™ Protocol, designed specifically for single-acting pneumatic control valves utilizing established magnetic position measurement technology.

The Masoneilan SVI™ II AP (Smart Valve Interface, Advanced Performance) is a digital valve positioner equipped with a 32-bit microprocessor. It features a local interface that manages a pneumatic actuator through a two-wire 4-20mA control signal.

This device supports bi-directional communication via the HART® protocol. Its universal design facilitates easy retrofitting to replace existing analog positioners on both Masoneilan and non-Masoneilan pneumatic actuators, accommodating both single-acting and double-acting configurations.

Masoneilan SVI3 represents a user-friendly digital valve positioner designed for pneumatic control valves. It employs sophisticated control and diagnostic algorithms, complemented by field-tested noncontact position sensing technology, ensuring precise, responsive, and dependable positioning performance.

Its versatile and modular architecture, along with a reliable non-contact position sensor, accommodates a wide range of applications, delivering superior valve control complemented by real-time diagnostics.

The Masoneilan BR200/BR400 devices serve as high-capacity volume boosters designed for applications necessitating rapid stroking speeds with pneumatic actuators. By adjusting the bypass valve on the booster, stable performance can be achieved across a broad spectrum of actuator sizes, thereby enhancing dynamic response.

Both the BR200 and BR400 models are compatible with diaphragm and piston actuators alike.

The Baker Hughes Masoneilan 8012/8013 Series cam positioners are force-balance electro-pneumatic devices that achieve remarkable dynamic response and positioning precision by directly comparing the valve position with a controlled DC output signal. A single multi-lobe cam allows for field-adjustable linear or percentage-control characteristics without the need for additional components.

This positioner is offered in two action types: direct action, where an increase in the electrical signal leads to an increase in output pressure, and reverse action, where an increase in the electrical signal results in a decrease in output pressure. Furthermore, the positioner facilitates precise split-ranging of the controller output signal, enabling the sequential operation of two control valves using a single controller.

Masoneilan 4700/4800 E (electropneumatic) and 4700/4800 P (pneumatic) are reliable positioners developed by Baker Hughes, designed to deliver precise positioning, rapid response, and tailored control characteristics for control valves through the use of a precision feedback cam.

These positioners are compatible with both rotary and reciprocating actuators. In the case of rotary actuators, the cam is directly affixed to the shaft, while for reciprocating actuators, a robust turnbuckle and lever assembly connects the stem motion to the cam.

The Masoneilan Model 4411 transducer is for use with pneumatic positioners in applications with temperature or vibration issues for valve-mounted instruments.

These converters serve as precision electronic pressure controllers specifically engineered for continuous process control applications. They function within a closed-loop system that integrates a feedback sensor, thereby ensuring long-term stability and high accuracy performance. The 496 Series instrument is a non-contact opto-electronic positioner transmitter that delivers a 4-20mA analog output signal corresponding to the valve’s position. This device is suitable for installation on both rotary and reciprocating valves. The opto-electronic sensor functions similarly to a conventional potentiometer, with its output voltage being directly related to the rotation of its axis.

The Masoneilan Models 78-4 & 78-40 Series pressure regulators are designed as compact, lightweight, and high-performance valves for pressure reduction. Their primary application is to provide a consistent air supply to process control equipment, including pneumatic transducers and control valve positioners.
